CDI (Italian Diagnostic Center), Via Saint Bon 20, Milan
Following last year's success, for STEMintheCity 2019 #100esperte offers a new opportunity for high school classes to meet with STEM experts, enriching the experience with a guided tour of the photography exhibition "A Life as a Scientist," inspired by the project and on display at the CDI.
In the first part of the afternoon, students will be guided through the photographic exhibition that portrays some STEM experts through the eye of the famous photographer Gerard Bruneau, who provides a unique, often intimate and ironic image.
In the second part, the classes will have the opportunity to meet some of the photographed scientists (an engineer, a biologist, a computer scientist, a paleontologist) and discuss their personal and professional experiences, opportunities, and challenges of pursuing a scientific path of study.
The comprehensive schools in the CDI area were invited to participate in the event.
