Building bridges, not walls, through the work of journalists who defend democracy and therefore peace. The third edition of the Mediterranean Women Journalists' Forum , conceived by journalist Marilù Mastrogiovanni with the support of the Gi.U.Li.A association and dedicated to the theme #Unwalling #Europe, took place in Bari and Lecce.
We participated in the Forum with our 100esperte project, illustrating the goals achieved and presenting the research of three Apulian scientists, the neurologist Susanna Cotecchia , the chemist Maria Lucia Curri and the physicist Paola Prete .
An important agreement has also been signed between the University of Bari Aldo Moro (Center of Excellence "For Innovation and Creativity") and the Gi.U.Li.A. association. The aim of the agreement is to identify high-profile female scientists and economists from Southern Italian universities to join the database and disseminate their research findings to the media. New candidates will be evaluated by the Scientific Commissions and Committees that have previously conducted the selection process according to publicly agreed criteria.
