Bio

Danielle Frederique Madam is a multiple Italian shot put champion, a communications professional, and an example of determination and redemption through sport. With a degree in Communication Sciences and a major in Business Administration, she combines a solid academic background with a deep passion for the media and sports culture.

Having arrived in Italy from Cameroon at the age of 7, at 13 she discovered athletics, winning 5 Italian titles (3 federal and 2 university), 5 silver medals, 3 bronze medals (including one overall) and 14 regional titles in Lombardy.

After a long bureaucratic battle that led her to achieve her dream of Italian citizenship in 2021, she has become an influential public voice for women's integration, rights, and empowerment in sport.

Today, she works in the media and events world, translating her field experience into socially impactful projects. She was featured in the "Extraordinary" exhibition among the 107 women leaders of today and won the Leader of Change Culture award at the 2024 Black Carpet Awards, a testament to her commitment to sport as a tool for redemption and unity.
