She has worked as a researcher and policy analyst in Portugal, the United States, Belgium, Hungary, Italy, Spain, and Zimbabwe, focusing on identity politics and minority rights . Her research on minorities allows her to investigate broader mechanisms of racism and structural inequalities . After a year at the UNESCO Office for Southern Africa, she dedicated herself to a comparative project on governance models of religious diversity . In 2021, she founded INTEGRIM Lab, a Brussels-based organization that provides research services to various stakeholders and groups working on issues of social justice, minorities, and migration, and which she has co-directed since 2024.
She is currently a Distinguished Researcher at the Faculty of Sociology at the University of Valladolid, a Senior Researcher at the Department of Mobility and Migration of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and a Visiting Fellow at the University of Lisbon.
