Bio
She graduated and received her PhD from Sapienza University of Rome and her Master's degree in Arabic Studies from the American University in Cairo. She has taught at the University of Naples "L'Orientale." Her research focuses on Arabic literature, history, and culture , with a particular focus on Mediterranean studies and intercultural dialogue .
He edited the secret correspondence between the leaders of the Young Turks and Muhammad Farid and conducted the first translation and study of an unpublished manuscript from the Mamluk era. He has also conducted studies on the Arabic press and contemporary Arab critical thought.
Updated Luiss documentation confirms her academic standing and lists her research areas as Middle Eastern history and culture, Arabic literature, Mediterranean studies, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, anthropological and gender studies. She is president of the Orestiadi Foundation in Gibellina and a member of the faculty of the National Doctorate in Peace Studies.
