Bio
Paola Paoloni, a graduate in Economics and Business with a PhD in Business Administration, is a full professor at Sapienza University of Rome and directs the Ipazia Observatory on Gender Studies and SMEs.
Her research focuses on business economics, with a particular focus on micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, women-owned businesses, gender gaps, intellectual capital, and sustainability and innovation dynamics in SMEs.
She is a member of the University's CUG. She has held and continues to hold governance positions (as director or auditor) in listed and unlisted companies in the industrial, services, banking, and public sectors.
