Bio
A graduate with honors in Political Science from La Sapienza University of Rome and a Master's in International Development, Isabella Falautano began her career in 1996 as a Research Fellow at the Institute of International Affairs and with a stint at the World Bank. After institutional roles at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, she entered the private sector in 2001, holding managerial roles in the banking and insurance sector and subsequently at AXA for over a decade as executive director of communications, sustainability, and institutional relations.
At the end of 2018, she joined the Steering Committee of the banking startup illimity, and in February 2022, she took on the role of Head of Sustainability and Civil Society at Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. Since 2023, she has been Group Chief Sustainability & Communication Officer of Angelini Industries, overseeing the sustainable business strategies and corporate communications of the multinational, multibusiness group active in the healthcare, consumer goods, and industrial technology sectors.
Throughout her career, she has combined managerial commitment with a strong focus on sustainability, social innovation, and the promotion of DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), also working as a co-founder of business angel networks supporting female entrepreneurship.
